How to claim a dingMoney transfer?
Claiming the received dingMoney
If you’re receiving dingMoney for the first time, you’ll get a WhatsApp message with a link to claim your credit. You’ll need to complete our verification process to unlock your wallet before you can use the funds. Please note that the dingMoney sent will expire if it isn’t claimed within 5 days.
If you’ve already received dingMoney in the past and have completed the receiver verification process, any new funds sent to you will be automatically added to your balance.
To claim your dingMoney and verify your identity:
- Click the link in the WhatsApp message. This will redirect you to the Ding website.
- Click Verify to unlock and follow the on-screen steps.
- First, verify your phone number.
- Then, verify your identity by providing your personal details, current address, and a photo of your ID.
- Once your ID verification has been successfully completed, you’ll receive a confirmation notification via WhatsApp or the Ding app.

What happens if I don’t complete the verification process?
When you’re receiving dingMoney for the first time, you have 5 days to claim your credit.
If you don’t complete the verification process within that time, the funds will be returned to the sender.
