How do I buy a voucher or gift card?
To purchase a gift card or voucher through the Ding app, follow the steps below depending on your device.
Android
- Log in to your account.
- Tap Products in the bottom menu on the home page.
- Select Vouchers.
- Tap the flag icon to choose the country where you want to send your voucher.
- Select the voucher type you want to send. Note that the options available depend on the country you want to send the voucher to.
- Choose the amount.
- Review the order summary page before payment to make sure all the details are correct.
- Select a payment method and tap Pay at the bottom of the screen.
Please note: the Android app currently doesn’t have an option to directly send voucher details to the recipient if you’re purchasing for someone else, so you’ll need to manually share the voucher information.
iOS
- Log in to your account.
- Tap Gifts in the bottom menu on the home page.
- Tap the flag icon to choose the country where you want to send your voucher.
- Select the voucher type you want to send. Note that the options available depend on the country you want to send the voucher to.
- Choose the amount.
- Review the order summary page before payment to make sure all the details are correct.
- If you’re purchasing a voucher for someone else, tap Sending to someone else? to share the voucher details with the recipient.
- Tap Checkout securely, then select a payment method and tap Pay now.
Redemtion details
Once the payment has been completed, your voucher will be created and you'll find the code and the instructions in the confirmation screen. In order to use it, the receiver must follow the instructions provided.
If you haven't added a receiver phone number during the purchase and you want to send the gift card to someone else, make sure to share with them the code and instructions.
